Registered Sex Offender Arrested By Titusville Police Again For Another Sex Crime

Tuesday, Rowe was charged with Attempted Sexual Battery and Extortion. Rowe is a registered sexual predator with an extensive criminal history with multiple felony convictions.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police Detectives have arrested a registered sexual predator who is suspected of committing another sex crime.

According to Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department, on Monday, officers responded to a report of an attempted sexual battery and extortion of an adult woman.

The investigation led to the arrest of 41-year-old Russell Steven Rowe of Cocoa.

Tuesday, Rowe was charged with Attempted Sexual Battery and Extortion. Rowe is a registered sexual predator with an extensive criminal history with multiple felony convictions.

“The preliminary investigation has revealed that Russell Rowe used the screen name “Rob Spence” on social media sites,” said Matthews.

“Mr. Rowe is being held at the Brevard County Jail with no bond.”
