Titan Women’s Basketball Team Ready To Face Daytona State Thursday In Melbourne

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College women’s basketball team will host Daytona State College Thursday night in the team’s final non-conference game before tipping off the Southern Conference schedule.

The Titans are back at home where they are 2-3 this season and face a Daytona State College team that has won its past two games and is 7-7 on the season.

Center Ka’Neeshia Brown is averaging 11.8 points and 13.6 rebounds per game for the Falcons. The 13.6 rebounds per game is tops in Region 8.

Eastern Florida State College is led by Trudy Walker who is averaging 14 points and eight rebounds per game and has eight double-doubles this season for the Titans.

Thursday’s game will tip off at 6 p.m. at Titan Field House on the Melbourne campus and admission is free.

The women’s team will open the Southern Conference next Wednesday, traveling to Florida Southwestern for a 6 p.m. game.
