Tickets On Sale For 32nd Annual Chowder Cook-Off Set For Tomorrow At Port Canaveral

The 32nd Annual Chowder Cook-Off will feature fourteen area chefs and restaurants competing to determine who has the “Best Chowder” and “Best Twist” on the Space Coast.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – The 32nd Annual Chowder Cook-Off with a Twist, hosted by the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), will be held on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at Port Canaveral’s Cruise Terminal 1.

This premier event will feature fourteen area chefs and restaurants competing to determine who has the “Best Chowder” and “Best Twist” on the Space Coast.

Attendees will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite foods with the winners being awarded the People’s Choice Awards.

A celebrity judging panel will vote for the Judges’ Choice Awards. Confirmed this year for the celebrity judging panel are Allison Walker Torres from News 13, Mike & Mindy from Lite Rock 99.3/iHeartRadio, Wayne Justice from the Port Canaveral Commission, Wingnut from KISS 95.1, and Suzy Fleming Leonard, food and dining reporter, with Florida Today.

Those planning to attend this banner event can purchase tickets in advance and save $10.00 off the regular admission price ($20.00 per person in advance and $30.00 at the door for General Admission, $40 per person in advance and $50 at the door for VIP entry).

VIP entrance will begin at 12:00 noon and includes a free drink and food tastings a full hour before general admission, which begins at 1:00 p.m. VIP ticket holders will also receive a VIP bag!

Admission includes sample tastings, a cash bar, silent auction, prize drawings, access to tabletop vendors, and live entertainment by the Gypsy Rain Band.
