The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) announced a partnership with the Children’s Home Society of Florida in Palm Bay to promote STEM education through model aviation to disadvantaged youth.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) announced a partnership with the Children’s Home Society of Florida in Palm Bay to promote STEM education through model aviation to disadvantaged youth.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

• Sunday, March 12: Children from the Children’s Home Society of Florida will attend “March Madness” with the Florida Modelers Association where they will observe model aviation first-hand and learn more about the hobby.

• Sunday, March 19: The children will return to the Florida Modelers Association where they will learn to build a model aircraft of their own.

During these events, the kids will become AMA members with full benefits, free of charge.
