Five Brevard County residents were among 104 suspects arrested in “Operation March Sadness,” a six-day-long undercover investigation by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office focused on those who advertise prostitution services in online ads and identifying victims of human trafficking.

Law enforcement officials filed 37 felony charges and 128 misdemeanor charges against the 104 suspects.

Brevard residents arrested included Gregory Aramini, John Hamilton, Gary Harrison, Eyad Safar and Dirk Watson.

According to authorities, Watson is a Little League coach and currently a captain in the military who is stationed at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

He is suspected of leaving his wife and children while at vacation in Disney so he could meet a 14-year old girl for sex.

“He should have gone to the family vacation in Disney,” said Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd.

“Instead, he has four felonies. He had horrible, graphic communication with a detective that clearly said she was 14. This is a man who has children.”

Among the 104 suspects, there was a total of 191 previous felonies and 288 previous misdemeanor charges in their criminal histories.
