Pavlina leads the league with 95 face-off wins

Florida Tech junior lacrosse player Lance Pavlina has been honored by the Sunshine State Conference as the Men’s Lacrosse Specialist of the Week, announced by the Sunshine State Conference office on Monday

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – After helping Florida Tech win its third game in a row, junior Lance Pavlina has been honored by the Sunshine State Conference as the Men’s Lacrosse Specialist of the Week, announced by the SSC office on Monday.

Pavlina dominated the face-off X in the Panthers’ 22-6 victory over Norte Dame de Namur on Monday, winning 15-of-19 draws.

The Desert Vista product also tied a season-high with 13 ground balls in the game.

Through eight games this season, Pavlina leads the league with 95 face-off wins, while his 38 total ground balls rank fourth in the SSC.
