Now that you have Heart’s popular rock song “Barracuda” stuck in your head, let’s talk about real barracudas.

Barracudas are muscular fish with long, slender bodies and razor-sharp teeth. Some of their teeth point backwards to prevent slippery fish from escaping their grasp.

Barracudas are voracious feeders and eat a wide variety of fish, octopus and shrimp.
