BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — Safari Under the Stars, one of Brevard County’s most popular fundraisers, will dazzle guests with a trio of “movers and shakers” at Brevard Zoo in the final weekend of April.

Brevard Zoo is home to more than 800 animals representing 180 species from all over the world. As a not-for-profit organization, it is a leader in the fields of animal wellness, education and conservation.

Eighteen-year-old Australian conservationist and media personality Bindi Irwin will be present to preview the Zoo’s new exhibit, Lands of Change: Australia and Beyond and speak to sponsors at the Saturday evening gala.

Irwin, who is the daughter of “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin, is known for winning season 21 of “Dancing with the Stars.”

The general public will have the opportunity to attend a ticketed presentation featuring Irwin on Saturday morning; more information about that event will be released shortly.

As part of a Friday night VIP event, Bill Klein and Jennifer Arnold of TLC’s “The Little Couple” will participate in the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Zoo’s new Exceptional Nature Space designed specifically for children with varying exceptionalities.

The space was constructed using funds raised at last year’s gala. Klein and Arnold will also be guests on Saturday evening.

Safari Under the Stars, one of Brevard County’s most popular fundraisers, will dazzle guests with a trio of “movers and shakers” at Brevard Zoo in the final weekend of April.

“These extraordinary individuals exemplify three initiatives that are incredibly important to the Zoo and our community—animal wellness, conservation and accessibility,” said Karen Davis, the Zoo’s director of development.
