Two Suspects Wanted By Melbourne Police For Aggravated Battery After Reportedly Beating Man

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne police received a call Tuesday morning from a witness claiming two white men were beating a black man near 815 E Fee Ave. in Melbourne Tuesday morning, according to Cmdr. Sean Riordan of the Melbourne Police Department.

The suspects fled the area in a older red GMC or Chevy pickup truck, according to Cmdr. Riordan.

The incident occurred around 9:57 a.m.

Witnesses told police the truck had a couple of appliances in the bed of the truck.

After further investigation, it was revealed the driver’s door on the truck was white.

Police are working on locating the truck and the suspects.

Authorities are treating the incident as an aggravated battery investigation.
