Rolling road blocks will occur

Construction crews will be paving Florida/Forrest Avenue in Cocoa between Stone Street and State Road 520 on Thursday morning, April 27, beginning at 7 a.m.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Construction crews will be paving Florida/Forrest Avenue in Cocoa between Stone Street and State Road 520 on Thursday morning, April 27, beginning at 7 a.m.

The road will be closed temporarily for approximately 2 hours to accommodate the paving process.

In addition, all side streets connected to Florida Avenue in the project limits will be paved Thursday.

Rolling road blocks will occur as crews move from street to street to pave.

Please observe the posted road detour signs to make your way around the construction activity, and authorities thank you again for your patience during this construction period.

The project is almost finished as the City of Cocoa expects the final paving to occur during the week of May 15-19.
