Eastern Florida State College Host Open House May 8-9 For Prospective Students

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida State College will host two Open House events designed to allow prospective students to preview many Career and Technical degree and certificate programs.
The first Open House will be held on Monday, May 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the EFSC Cocoa Campus, located at 1519 Clearlake Road, Cocoa.
The event will begin in the Bldg. 14 Auditorium (Room 104) and will feature insights on programs including Aerospace Technology, Air Conditioning, Automotive Technology, CNC Machining, Computer Technology and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Cosmetology, Culinary, Digital TV and Welding.
The second Open House is Tuesday, May 9 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the EFSC Palm Bay Campus, located at 250 Community College Parkway, SE, Palm Bay.
It will start in Bldg. 1, Room 107G and will feature insights on programs including Air Conditioning, Alternative Energy, Computer Technology/Cyber Security, Composite Manufacturing and Engineering Technology.

Both events will provide participants with program tours that include an up-close look at labs, equipment and classrooms, plus the opportunity to meet faculty.
Information on Financial Aid and onsite assistance with the admission application will also be available.
Both sessions will feature information on other degree and certificate programs including Aviation Maintenance, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Office Administration, Transportation and Logistics, Human and Social Services, Graphics Technology, and Drafting and Design Technology.
