Eastern Florida State Defeats Broward College 5-3 Saturday Afternoon, Titans Move To 22-11

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Eastern Florida State College baseball team defeated Broward College 5-3 Saturday afternoon in a Southern Conference road game.

Jacob McFadden got things started in the first inning, hitting a two-run double and put up three more runs in the fifth as Ian Lisle hit a sacrifice fly, Paul Castillo had an RBI single and McFadden stole home as the Titans took a 5-0 lead.

Starting pitcher Ryan Lang finished with 10 strikeouts and allowed two runs, both in the fifth inning for the Titans, who improved to 22-11 overall and 9-7 in the conference.

The Titans will host Palm Beach State Tuesday at Bruce Bochy Field. The game will start at 5 p.m. and admission is free.
