ROAD CLOSURE ALERT: Minutemen Causeway In Cocoa Beach Paving Schedule For This Week

DETOURS are available at Cedar Avenue

On Monday, April 24, Minutemen Causeway in Cocoa Beach between S. Orlando Avenue and Brevard Avenue will be closed for median modification in preparation for Tuesday paving.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – On Monday, April 24, Minutemen Causeway in Cocoa Beach between S. Orlando Avenue and Brevard Avenue will be closed for median modification in preparation for Tuesday paving.

DETOURS are available at Cedar Avenue, Woodland Avenue and Brevard Avenue.

On Tuesday, April 25, beginning at 7 a.m., DETOUR will be required at Cedar Avenue as paving will begin on Minutemen Causeway and will include all three blocks up to South Orlando Avenue. Law enforcement personnel will be on duty at detour during opening/closing hours for schools.

In addition, traffic signal loops will be installed on S. Orlando Avenue and N. Atlantic Avenue between 8 a.m. and 12 noon (one lane open at all times on both roads).

On Wednesday, April 26, S. Orlando Avenue and N. Atlantic Avenue intersections will be paved with one lane closed between 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Any paving not completed on blocks west of S. Orlando Avenue will be completed on Wednesday.

DETOUR still available at Cedar Avenue.

On Thursday, April 27, work will only be required if weather impacts the work planned between Monday and Wednesday.
