West Melbourne Police Seek Suspect Who Robbed Chase Bank On Palm Bay Road Thursday

West Melbourne police are seeking a bank robber who entered the Chase Bank in Palm Bay on Thursday just before 6 p.m. (WMPD image)

BREVARD COUNTY • WEST MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – West Melbourne police are seeking a bank robber who entered the Chase Bank on Palm Bay Road on Thursday just before 6 p.m.

According to West Melbourne Police Sgt. Michelle Page, the suspect entered the bank, located at 115 Palm Bay Road, and told the teller he would like to make a withdrawal.

“A note was passed to the bank teller advising he had a gun and to give him money, $100’s only,” said Sgt. Page.

“The bank teller complied and an unknown amount of money was given to the suspect. The suspect left the bank without displaying a gun or harming anyone.”

The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male possibly in his 30’s, wire framed glasses, goatee facial hair, white hat, blue long sleeve button up shirt, jeans and white shoes.
