Melbourne Police Take Down Two Suspects During Illegal Drug and Firearm Sales Operation

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police have arrested 58-year-old David Cline for Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent To Sell, Possession of Controlled Substance(No Prescription), Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon, Possession of Ammunition by Convicted Felon, and Commit 2nd Degree Felony with a weapon.
Cline’s bond has been set at $110,000.
In continuing efforts to target drug related crimes within the City of Melbourne, the Melbourne Police Department Special Investigations Unit in conjunction with the Melbourne Police Department SWAT Team and the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) conducted an illegal drug and firearm sales operation occurring at 1594 Virginia Drive within Melbourne.
Police also arrested 48-year-old Tia Cundiff on the property for retail grand theft and uttering a forged instrument.
Cundiff’s bond has been set at $2,000.
