ABOVE VIDEO: Ranked by Comedy Central as one of the top 100 standup comedians of all time, Sinbad has built a loyal following by taking audiences’ painful trials or embarrassing tribulations of day-by-day life, throwing them back in their faces, and causing an uproar of comedic hysteria.

Actor and comedian, Sinbad arrived on the comedy scene with a “hit’em in the face” style of comedy that has his audiences laughing in the aisles. Sinbad tells stories, and boy does he tell stories. The basis of his humor comes from everyone he meets, everything he’s seen, and everything he’s done. Ranked by Comedy Central as one of the top 100 standup comedians of all time, Sinbad has built a loyal following by taking audiences’ painful trials or embarrassing tribulations of day-by-day life, throwing them back in their faces, and causing an uproar of comedic hysteria.

He can also make it sound profound without being profane. Not that he’s any kind of choirboy, but by being the son of a preacher man he decided to keep his comedy clean after his father attended one of his early performances. Sinbad is internationally known for his starring appearances in hit movies like “Jingle All the Way,” playing opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger; “Houseguest,” co-starring the late Phil Hartman, and let’s not forget his film debut, “Necessary Roughness,” where he did none of his own stunts! He has starred in the television sitcom “A Different World” as well as his own series, “The Sinbad Show.” Be sure to join us for an evening of laugh out loud comedy.

Today, the band continues to release new and previously unreleased material. Still led by founding member and lead singer Doug Gray, they represent a time and place in music that will never be duplicated. Gray is quick to credit the band’s current dynamic members with carrying on the timeless essence of The Marshall Tucker Band sound. Current members include the highly respected drummer B.B. Borden, a former member of both Mother’s Finest and The Outlaws; multi-instrumentalist Marcus Henderson plays flute, saxophone and keyboards in addition to lead and background vocals; Pat Elwood on bass guitar; and Rick Willis on lead guitar and vocals.

“Six Pack: Volume 3” follows 2016’s “I’ll Have Another…Christmas Album,” the world famous a cappella group’s sixth full-length release and first full-length holiday release in seven years. Widely beloved for their trademark takes on Yuletide favorites, Straight No Chaser made their now classic debut with 2008’s “Holiday Spirits,” followed in the next year by “Christmas Cheers.”

Both albums reached the top of the holiday charts at Amazon and the iTunes Store and are now certified gold by the RIAA. Like the preceding “Six Pack” and “Six Pack: Volume 2,” the new EP continues Straight No Chaser’s long history of bringing their unique touch and inimitable vocal style to a stunning range of contemporary standards.

Their most recent non-holiday release, 2015’s “The New Old Fashioned,” saw the renowned group putting their matchless touch upon songs spanning The Weeknd and Radiohead to Bob Dylan and Atlantic labelmate Charlie Puth.
