Brevard County Fire Rescue’s Quick Action Saves Home On North Merritt Island Monday

Two occupants and four dogs escape unharmed

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire in the 6400 block of Colony Park Drive on North Merritt Island on Monday.

According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, the main body of fire was in the porch area and had minor extension into the home.

Two occupants and four dogs escaped unharmed and are being assisted by the American Red Cross.

Brevard County Fire Rescue responding units included E40, E41, E42, E43, R41, D40, D20, E841 and Insp 13.

Thanks to the first arriving company’s aggressive and quick attack, damage was minimized.
