FHP Patrol Car Involved In Crash On SR 528, Left Lanes Shutdown For Eastbound, Westbound Traffic

Florida Highway Patrol responded to a injury crash on State Road 528, nearly one mile west of exit 24, that involved FHP patrol vehicle.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol responded to a injury crash on State Road 528, nearly one mile west of exit 24, that involved FHP patrol vehicle.

Units received the call around 2:49 p.m. that a patrol vehicle had been involved in a crash.

FHP reports injuries in the crash.

The result of the crash has backed up traffic nearly three miles on Beachline SR 528, according to an eyewitness.

FHP reports the the left lane on both, westbound and eastbound traffic, has been shutdown due to the wreckage.
