BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Constant pain can seriously impair a person’s life. It can lead to loss of employment, isolation from family and friends, even severe depression.

At Florida Pain, they strive to reduce or eliminate the acute and chronic pain suffered by our patients using the latest techniques available. The treatments are geared toward relieving pain while at the same time taking into account the patients overall health and lifestyle.

Florida Pain is a multi-service facility that offers the following Pain Management consultation and management services for acute and chronic pain to include:

• X-ray guided epidural injections
• Facet blocks
• Radiofrequency ablation
• Percutaneous disc decompression
• Spinal cord stimulators
• Implantable infusion pumps
• Vertebroplasty

If you are one of the millions who suffer from pain, you should be aware that there are more treatment options available now than ever before. To make an informed decision about your treatment, you should first gain an understanding of your specific condition.

People develop pain for many reasons. Acute pain can be from a recent injury, surgery, or medical illness. This pain can typically be managed immediately and will more than likely improve in a short period of time.

In some instances, your primary care physician may refer you to a pain management physician to manage your pain while you are healing.

If you have persistent pain, pain that gets worse over time, or pain that persists after the healing process should be over, you may have what is classified as chronic pain. Again, your primary care physician may refer you to a pain management physician.
