All ages return Tonight at W. W. James Field

While the eight, nine and 10-year old Baseball division took the night off, the Intermediate and Senior Baseball divisions got underway at Indian River City Little League (IRCLL).

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – While the eight, nine and 10-year old Baseball division took the night off, the Intermediate and Senior Baseball divisions got underway at Indian River City Little League (IRCLL).

In Intermediate Baseball, the visiting team, Indian River City Little League (IRCLL), met Merritt Island Little League (MILL).

IRCLL’s Gage Krull had a double while Cuttino Sconiers had five stolen bases and scored one run.

For MILL, Logan Araj swiped four bases himself and scored twice, Aaron Finch stole two bases and scored twice and Layson Handwork went 3-for-3 and scored twice as MILL squeaked out the 9-8 victory in 6 1/2 innings.

Broadcast action returns this weekend as the Friday Night Locker Room tackles more little league All-Star action. Steve Wilson and Orville Susing will be in Rockledge and Alan Zlotrzynski in Viera to bring you live play by play on Space Coast Daily TV.

In the Senior Baseball division, the visitiing team, Mims Little League (MLL), met Merritt Island Little League (MILL).

MILL’s Brandon Gay went 2-for-3 with two runs batted in and Logan Legg was 2-for-4 with an RBI.

For Mims, Jonah Schwartz went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI and Colton Coffell was 2-for-2 with three RBI’s.

Quinton Williams and Tristan Woodruff each had RBI singles for Mims while Cody Whitby struck out seven in four innings of work as he picked up the win in Mims 15-5, 6 inning victory.

Games continue tonight in these two divisions.

The eight, nine and 10-year olds return to action as well.
