The victim was flown to a local trauma center for treatment of his wounds.

“At 1:08 p.m. emergency dispatchers began receiving multiple 9-1-1 calls from witnesses reporting a shooting at the Sav-a-Lot Plaza located on 1208 Dixon Blvd. When first responders arrived they located the 16-year-old male victim in a vehicle with an 18-year-old male driver,” said Martinez.
