Three Homicide Victims Positively ID’d In Malabar Fire, Search For Murder Suspect Still Ongoing

BREVARD COUNTY • MALABAR, FLORIDA – The remains of the three homicide victims located in the fire debris of the residence at 855 Atz Road in Malabar have been positively identified, according to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

The victims are identified as 39-year-old Chrissy Hughes, her 9-year-old son, Sebastian Meachum, both of Malabar, Florida, and 38-year-old Linda Woods, of Bella Vista in Arkansas.

All three were discovered after neighbors reported the fire on Sunday, June 11, 2017.

At this time, Tony Hughes has not been located and the investigation into this homicide is ongoing. Updates will be released as new information becomes available.
