UF/Brevard Extension Service To Host 4-H Shooting Sports and Conservation Camp June 26-30

The UF/Brevard Extension Service invites youths ages 12-16 to learn about archery, rifle, shotgun, muzzle loading and wildlife conservation during its 4-H Shooting Sports and Conservation Camp from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily June 26-30.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The UF/Brevard Extension Service invites youths ages 12-16 to learn about archery, rifle, shotgun, muzzle loading and wildlife conservation during its 4-H Shooting Sports and Conservation Camp from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily June 26-30.

The week-long camp will be held at the Titusville Rifle and Pistol Club, located at 2299 Gun Club Lane, in Mims.

Campers will learn the basics, and will participate in competitions and a barbecue on the last day of camp.

Other activities may include knot tying, GPS, map and compass skills, first-aid and fishing.

Upon completion, participants should be able to earn their FWC Hunter Safety Certification.
