Port–Tenant Relations to be discussed Wednesday

BREVARD COUNTY PORT CANAVERAL FLORIDA – The Port Canaveral Authority leases property to a wide variety of port tenants for many different business activities.

Should the leases be allowed to expire and terminate?

Should the lease be renewed, and if so, under what conditions?

Or should the leaseholder be compensated in some fashion for the property improvements, and then allow the lease to expire?

When such leases come to an end, the five elected port commissioners are often challenged with making tough decisions regarding such leases.
