Files with Brevard County Supervisor of Elections

Former two-time Brevard County Commissioner Trudie Infantini filed with the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Wednesday as a candidate for the Brevard County Commission District 4 seat in 2018.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Former two-term Republican Brevard County Commissioner Trudie Infantini filed with the Brevard County Supervisor of Elections Wednesday as a candidate for the Brevard County Commission District 4 seat in 2018.

Currently the seat is held by Republican Curt Smith, who was elected in 2014.

Infantini was first elected to the commission in 2008, representing District 3 for two consecutive terms through 2016.

Infintini said that she will be moving into District 3 in the near future.

She termed out in 2016 because of term limit rules after serving two consecutive 4-year terms, and is now qualified to run again for the commission.

Infantini lost to the incumbent Scott Ellis in the Brevard Clerk of the Circuit Court Republican primary election in 2016.
