Cocoa Man Arrested For Armed Burglary At Titusville Hotel Last Weekend

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police have arrested the suspect in connection with the Armed Robbery of the Quality Inn Hotel located at 3655 Cheney Highway that occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m. on Saturday July 22.

Quantavis Rashon Esau, 26, of Cocoa, was taken into custody Wednesday evening by Titusville Police and the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Game Over Task Force and charged with Armed Robbery, Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Assault, Grand Theft and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect, wearing all black with his face covered, entered the lobby of the hotel armed with a handgun, threatened the front desk clerk and forcibly took money from the register.

Titusville Police Detectives found substantial evidence linking the suspect to the armed robbery at the hotel and issued a warrant for his immediate arrest.

Esau was booked into the Brevard County Jail and is being held without bond.
