BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Police are seeking help in identifying a residential burglary suspect after the man is seen on surveillance video stealing multiple items inside a home, on July 5, near the 1700 Block of Guava Ave. in Melbourne.

Authorities received a call on Wednesday referencing to an ongoing burglary taking place at the home at around 4:15 p.m.

Police say the suspect was able to flee and elude police before authorities arrived on scene, according to Sgt. Brian Hart of Melbourne Police Department.

The Melbourne Police Department is still investigating this incident.
