The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for west central Brevard County until 4:30 p.m.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for west central Brevard County until 4:30 p.m.

At 3:34 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located over West Melbourne, or near Melbourne, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE…Radar indicated. IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include Palm Bay, Melbourne, Rockledge, Cocoa Beach and Satellite Beach.
