UPDATE: Florida Highway Patrol has released the name of the 21-year-old Rockledge man killed in Wednesday’s deadly rear-end collision as Christian Lake.

**UPDATE**ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol has released the name of the 21-year-old Rockledge man killed in Wednesday’s deadly rear-end collision as Christian Lake.

Authorities say Lake was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol was not a factor when his vehicle collided into the rear-end of a semi-truck on SR 528 in Orange County.

ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly rear-end collision involving a semi-truck that killed a 21-year-old man from Rockledge late Wednesday afternoon on SR 528 near mile marker 20.

Investigators have not yet released the name of the victim.

The investigation has revealed that the two vehicles were traveling westbound on SR 528 when the semi, driven by Miguel Febus, slowed down for traffic, was rear-ended by the man from Rockledge.

The impact with the semi killed the 21-year-old man.

Febus is identified as a 42-year-old man from Kissmmee.

Authorities are still investigating the crash.
