BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA (WFTV) – Titusville residents spent time Monday working to cover up a spate of racist graffiti spray-painted on their homes overnight.

Dawn Vanslyke didn’t realize what had happened until a child asked her what the “KKK” painted in large black letters meant.

“’KKK,’ it was painted all over these windows, all over this wall, everything,” she said. “It’s all over the houses.”

A police report on the incident said that five homes along Jones Street and South Deleon Avenue were hit by vandals.
