ocean temperatures average 78 degrees

Waves are looking mostly unrideable this morning. Late-morning's lower tide could help make the small waves more rideable by then. Surfers seeking an early morning surf session may want to focus on Cocoa Beach's northernmost beaches for a longboardable wave.

TUESDAY: Cocoa Beach ocean temperatures now average 78 degrees.

TUESDAY: The expected NE swell is now sending fun surf our way this morning. Waves are running in the thigh- to waist-high range in Cocoa Beach.

Bigger waves in the waist- to chest-high range can be found along Brevard’s southernmost beaches. Favorable offshore winds from TD Emily are producing clean, broken lines.

Cocoa Beach ocean temperatures now average 78 degrees.
