Bob Freeman’s Daily Surf Report For August 3 In Brevard County

By  //  August 3, 2017

Waves are looking mostly unrideable this morning. Late-morning's lower tide could help make the small waves more rideable by then. Surfers seeking an early morning surf session may want to focus on Cocoa Beach's northernmost beaches for a longboardable wave.
Thursday: Cocoa Beach ocean temperatures now average 78 degrees.

Thursday: Surf conditions are looking mostly unrideable during my early morning visual. Small waves in the knee- to thigh-high range should be more rideable as the tide drops by mid-morning for surfers usinglongboards. A light southerly breeze is adding some ripples running
across the incoming waves.

I expect bigger surf for this coming Friday and into the weekend.

Cocoa Beach ocean temperatures now average 78 degrees.
