Brevard County Firefighter Receives Minor Injuries Fighting Early Morning Blaze In Indialantic

Fire contained to kitchen area of home
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to a working fire in the 400 block of Flanders Drive in North Indialantic early Thursday morning.
The quick response of the Brevard County Fire Rescue crews at about 12:30 a.m. allowed the fire to be contained to the kitchen area of the home.
However, one Brevard County Fire Rescue crew member was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries after being struck by falling debris while performing fire suppression duties in the home.
According to a BCFR spokesman, the crew member will be OK.
