EFSC Campuses to Celebrate Constitution Day With Events In September, Featuring Music and Speakers

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – All four Eastern Florida State College campuses will host Constitution Day events in early September, featuring patriotic music and guest speakers to commemorate the 230th anniversary of the signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787.

The Melbourne Campus will host its event on Monday, September 11 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Building 4 Auditorium (Room 100). State Rep. Randy Fine, who represents Brevard County in the Florida Legislature, will be the guest speaker.

Music will be provided by EFSC Performing Arts faculty member Dr. Robert Lamb.

Titusville Campus Constitution Day Celebration

Monday, September 18
1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Building 1, Room 102 (Auditorium)
Guest Speaker: Mr. Dan Diesel, Titusville City Councilman and Assistant Principal at Titusville High
Trivia, prizes and food to follow

Cocoa Campus Constitution Day Celebration

Tuesday, September 19
11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Building 14, Room 104 (Auditorium)
Live-stream of the documentary “Created Equal: Constitution USA” with Peter Sagal
Trivia, prizes and food to follow
