BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Femme Fatale ARMS hosted a Ribbon Cutting celebration event on Thursday evening featuring special guest speaker Brevard County Sheriff Wayne Ivey.
Thursday’s Ribbon Cutting event kicked off a weekend of sales, raffles and more at the store, located at 4270 Minton Road, Suite 107, in Palm Bay.
During Saturday’s festivities at 12 noon, attendees can meet Jon Gutmacher, author of “Florida Firearms Law, Use & Ownership,” and if you purchase a copy of his latest June 2017 edition, Gutmacher will personally autographed the book.
Space Coast Daily‘s Gina Liberto was on hand to spotlight all the festivities and special guests.
Owned and operated by Maria Dockery, Femme Fatale ARMS’ product lines include high-end firearms, premium quality leather concealed carry purses, fashionable safety glasses and hearing protection, clothing, bra holsters and more.
The store focuses on meeting the needs of women who are either new to guns or looking to get more involved in both defensive and recreational shooting.
“Our goal is to provide a non-judgmental environment where women and men can learn to handle a firearm and defend themselves effectively,” said Dockery.
“We offer free counseling on the selection of a firearm that suits a client’s needs and abilities. We carry a range of smaller firearms that are easy to handle.”
The company’s popular Ladies Shooting Club meets at a private range each month.
“Our Club members range in age from 30 to 78, with varying abilities. They enjoy improving firearm skills while socializing with other women who share the same interest,” Dockery said.
Their product lines include high-end firearms, premium quality leather concealed carry purses, safety glasses, hearing protection and clothing.
Femme Fatale ARMS’ primarily focuses on the self-defense needs of women.
“We provide a supportive atmosphere for learning and making informed decisions. Our classes are small and allow for discussion time, and we emphasize teaching safe, effective handling of guns,” said Dockery.
