BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — The King Center continues to prove it is the premier place on the Space Coast to enjoy top notch entertainment.  Just announced are four new shows starting with the Charles Dickens holiday classic, A Christman Carol.

A Christmas Carol, Saturday December 23, 7:00 p.m.

This celebrated Charles Jones adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is rich with thrilling ensemble music, alive with color and movement, and is created to tell this great and enduring tale in a manner that people of all ages will enjoy.

Woven throughout this classic tale are beautiful new arrangements and moving renditions of holiday songs, such as “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Wassail Wassail,” “Good Christian Men Rejoice,” “Away in a Manger,” “Greensleeves,” “The Boar’s Head Carol,” and many more.

Featuring a cast of 23 performers, live musicians, and Broadway-style scenery and costumes, audiences cherish this sumptuous holiday classic. A holiday tradition for the whole family.

Jackson Browne has written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music and has defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2007.

Except for a brief period in NYC in the late 1960s, Jackson has always lived in Southern California. His debut album came out on David Geffen’s Asylum Records in 1972.

Since then, he has released fourteen studio albums and four collections of live performances. His most recent studio album, “Standing In The Breach,” is a collection of ten songs, at turns deeply personal and political, exploring love, hope, and defiance in the face of the advancing uncertainties of modern life.

L.A. based, guitar-player and singer, Ana Popovic is coming back to the King Center promoting her new triple album, “Trilogy,”her most ambitious project yet. With “Trilogy,” Ana releases three albums in one, including twenty-three funk, rock/blues, and jazz tunes.

Ana Popovic is an award-winning, hard-touring, guitar slinger who blends smoking electric funk and slide guitar, jazzy instrumentals and a tight blues groove with soulful, feminine vocals. Add to the mix her incredible stage presence, all of which makes her an irresistible force in the world of contemporary blues music. Ana was also the only female guitarist who was a part of the ‘all-star’ Experience Hendrix 2014 – 2017 line-up.

Ana and her powerful band are tirelessly touring, playing major blues, jazz and rock festivals. She is endorsed by Fender, D’Angelico, Jim Dunlop and DR strings and has shared headlining stages with B.B. King, Joe Bonamassa, Gary Clark Jr., and many others.
