Armed Robbery Suspect Charged After Holding Up Little Caesars Pizza In Titusville

Bennie Leroy King Jr., 32, of Cocoa was charged on Thursday with Robbery with a Firearm, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Theft.

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Titusville Police have charged the suspect in the armed robbery of a local pizza restaurant.

Bennie Leroy King Jr., 32, of Cocoa was charged on Thursday with Robbery with a Firearm, Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Theft.

Officers responded to the Little Caesars Pizza, located at 2760 South Hopkins Avenue, on Friday, September 22, at approximately 8:30 p.m. in response to an Armed Robbery that occurred to the store.

Police say the suspect has displayed a handgun to an employee, demanded money from the register, and then fled the scene on foot.

Brevard County Sheriff’s Office assisted Titusville Police detectives with the case after they had arrested him in a similar case in their jurisdiction.

King is currently being held in the Brevard County Jail with a $100,000 bond.
