BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Brevard County Fire Rescue units, including HazMat 48, assisted with the repair of a natural gas line break on Friday, which resulted in the closure of two lanes of westbound Wickham Road.

According to BCFR, the line was severed by a trenching machine and assisted City Gas with mitigating the hazard.

The gas line break was in the vicinity of George T. Edwards Drive.

All lanes are now open, and no injuries were reported.
