Cocoa Police Detectives Investigating Death of 39-Year Old Woman In 7-Eleven Parking Lot

Cocoa police detectives are investigating a death in which a 39-year-old female who was found unresponsive and not breathing in the 7-11 parking lot at 947 Dixon Boulevard.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Cocoa police detectives are investigating a death in which a 39-year-old female who was found unresponsive and not breathing in the 7-11 parking lot at 947 Dixon Boulevard.

At 3:30 p.m. Sunday, dispatchers received a 911 call from a man reporting his girlfriend was not breathing.

“He was in a vehicle with the victim reportedly taking her to a hospital when he stopped to call for help,” said Cocoa Police Public Information Officer Yvonne Martinez.

“Officers and fire rescue responded to the which is where the caller stopped to attempt to render aid to the woman.”

When rescuers arrived, they attempted to revive the woman but she was pronounced deceased on scene. The area around the 7-11 parking lot was secured as a potential crime scene.

Crime scene technicians processed the vehicle for any potential evidence and detectives are conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death, and if any foul play could have been involved.
