Cocoa Water Department Warns Customers To Boil Potable Water After Service Is Restored

The Cocoa Water Department advise that there are customers in the water utility system that may be getting their potable water back. Please remeber all potable water continues to be under a precautionary boil water notice.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Water Department advise that there are customers in the water utility system that may be getting their potable water back. Please remeber all potable water continues to be under a precautionary boil water notice.

“We are working as quickly as possible to get all of our customers back up and running,” said City of Cocoa offcials in a statement.

“Please be patient as crews are out trying to fix the numerous breaks throughout the entire system.”

The City of Cocoa also stressed to citizens to only call 9-1-1 for emergency situations.

“We understand there is debris and flooding throughout the City and we are still working on the getting the Water Utility system back up and running as quickly as possible,” officials said.

“We understand everyone is anxious to get back to their homes and assess damage, but please keep roadways clear so crews can get working on making our community safe.”
