Early Morning Arrest Results In Palm Bay Police Seizing Numerous Drugs,Two Loaded Guns

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Palm Bay Police have arrested a Palm Bay man on various drug and gun charges early Monday morning.
The man is identified as Michael Gordon Watson.
Police say an early morning traffic stop yielded a large amount of illicit drugs and two loaded handguns
According to authorities, Palm Bay Officer Aaron Yuergens stopped a 2007 Nissan Altima when he learned that the driver was operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
The officer pulled the vehicle over at around 1 a.m. at Malabar Road and Babcock Street.
Palm Bay Police Officer George Von Edwins’ K-9 “Delta” alerted the presence of illegal drugs inside the vehicle.
Police conducted a search of the vehicle and located two loaded guns on the front passenger seat and seven-pounds of cannabis, 2.2 lbs of Crystal Methamphetamine, 163 grams of MDMA (commonly known as ecstasy) and $11,805 in U.S. Currency.
The driver’s 2007 Nissan Altima was also seized.
Watson was charged with Driving with a Suspended Drivers License, Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Trafficking in MDMA, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Felony Possession of Cannabis.
Watson is currently at The Brevard County Jail with no bond.
