Florida Tech Classes To Resume Thursday, September 14

Due to Hurricane Irma, Florida Tech’s offices will not open until noon Wednesday, Sept. 13. Classes will resume Thursday, Sept. 14.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Due to Hurricane Irma, Florida Tech’s offices will not open until noon Wednesday, Sept. 13.

Classes will resume Thursday, Sept. 14.

Florida Tech students remaining on campus or in the Melbourne area are urged to take every safety precaution.

All members of the university community in the path of the storm should remain safely sheltered.

Heavy winds and rain will continue moving through the area tonight and early Monday. Students are advised to avoid travel and remain safely indoors during these potentially hazardous conditions. Students living on campus should be vigilant concerning their personal safety and follow the directions of university personnel.
