Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex To Remain Closed Wednesday Due to Lack of Water Service

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will remain closed Wednesday, September 13 due to the impact of Hurricane Irma.

The visitor complex is currently without water service.

No major damage was sustained throughout the property, and all structures and artifacts are intact.

Further announcements will be made via daily updates regarding reopening. Guests are not permitted on Kennedy Space Center property during this time.

During this time:

– Visitors will not be permitted onto visitor complex grounds.
– Non-essential employees that are scheduled to work tomorrow should remain home or in a safe location.
– Visitor Complex employees may call the Crewmember Hotline 321-449-0969 for information regarding work schedules.
