ORLANDO, FLORIDA – Orlando International Airport will reopen on Tuesday, but minor damage caused by Hurricane Irma will limit service.
Airport officials said it may take several days before the airport will resume normal operations.
According to airport officials, the facility suffered water intrusion in the main terminal, damaged canopies at the departure and arrival areas on both sides of the airport, and debris in the roadways.
Airport officials advised passengers to contact their airline on flight status to make sure they have a confirmed seat assignment before arriving at OIA.
After assessment, limited commercial service resuming on Tues., 9/12. Contact your airline on flight status.
