UPDATE: Orlando Melbourne International Airport Back In Business, Now Fully Operational

Delta Air Lines resumed their flights today
BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Orlando Melbourne International Airport is now fully operational.
The airfield, terminal, rental car center and restaurant – with full menu – are open and staffed.
A new air conditioning chiller was installed overnight to help storm weary passengers and greeters relax in comfort.
“Delta Air Lines resumed their flights today,” said Lori Booker, Airport Director of Communications.
“Due to storm impact in Charlotte, American Airlines flights resume tomorrow. We are providing fueling and other services to relief forces.”
Orlando Melbourne International Airport is currently served by four commercial airlines.
Legacy carriers Delta Air Lines and American Airlines offer daily, nonstop flights to their respective hubs in Atlanta and Charlotte and one-stop service to just about anywhere in the world.
Elite Airways is also building routes from its Melbourne, Florida hub. Toronto-based Porter Airlines also provides premium service scheduled flights direct between Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport (YTZ) and Orlando Melbourne International Airport.
They are joined by Apex Executive Jet Center which offers private aircraft charter to destinations throughout the contiguous United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Central America, as well as limited scheduled service.
