The Eastern Florida State College golf teams will battle the Florida Institute of Technology for the Collegiate Cup this weekend at Rockledge Country Club.
Florida Tech is also having a big fall season, ranked No. 6 in the Bushnell Golfweek NCAA Division II coaches poll and have finished second in both of their events and are coming into the Collegiate Cup as the defending champions.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA — The Eastern Florida State College golf teams will battle the Florida Institute of Technology for the Collegiate Cup this weekend at Rockledge Country Club.

The event is three rounds of Ryder Cup-style golf as the teams will pair up on Friday afternoon and play best ball beginning at 2 p.m. Then Saturday morning the teams will play alternate shot style beginning at 8 a.m. and singles in the afternoon.

The Titans men’s golf team are coming off a big win in the District 4 Preview and are ranked No. 3 in the latest NJCAA Division I poll.

Florida Tech is also having a big fall season, ranked No. 6 in the Bushnell Golfweek NCAA Division II coaches poll and have finished second in both of their events and are coming into the Collegiate Cup as the defending champions.

It will be the first season that the women’s teams will square off as well as the men’s teams and the Titan women’s team has been playing well in two events this fall. Florida Tech is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Saint Leo Invitational.
