Kinky Boots, one Broadway’s huge-hearted, high-heeled hits, with songs by Grammy and Tony winning pop icon Cyndi Lauper, is one of 11 new announced shopws coming to the King Center.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Christmas is less than 90 days away and if you’re looking for a gift for that hard to buy for loved one, or friend, the King Center in Melbourne may have a show coming that may make their holiday season complete.

Celebrating 30-years, the Maxwell C. King Center announced 11 new shows coming to the venue.

From Broadway hits to magic and acrobats, the King Center has something for everyone. The new announced shows start on November 2 with the acrobats of Flip Fabrique and continue when multiple Grammy Award-winning jazz pianist and world-renowned singer, Diana Krall takes the stage in Fevruary.

Tickets for all 11 new shows go on sale Friday September 22  at noon.

This tour features material from Krall’s stunning new album, “Turn Up The Quiet,” out now on Verve Records as well as a mix of some of Diana fans’ favorites. Diana Krall is the only jazz singer to have eight albums debut at the top of the Billboard Jazz Albums chart. To date, her albums have garnered five Grammy Awards, eight Juno Awards and have also earned nine gold, three platinum and seven multi-platinum albums.

One of the most recognized and sought-after saxophonists/vocalists, two-time GRAMMY nominee, Mindi Abair, has been electrifying audiences with her dynamic live performances and utter command of the saxophone since her debut album in 2000.

Since then, Mindi has released seven solo albums, and most recently, a live album with The Boneshakers. She’s collaborated on stage and in the studio with a wide cross-section of legendary peers, all helping to solidify her status as one of the most recognized and in-demand saxophonists.

Back by popular demand! Once was not enough, so Sal Valentinetti is set to return to the King Center stage in March. Valentinetti is an Italian-American crooner known best for his flawless vocals, larger than life personality and his heart of gold. “Sal the Voice” rose to stardom on Season 11 of the NBC hit show “America’s Got Talent.”

Belting out the classic Frank Sinatra hit, “My Way,” Sal not only received a standing ovation but got the coveted “Golden Buzzer” from judge, Heidi Klum. Since AGT, Sal has been selling out shows and is touring the country as one of the hottest new performers on the scene. Sal has also created a revival in music.

The standards of yester-year are now being listened to by four generations of Americans and music lovers abroad. Sal’s live show will feature his band, “The Black Tie Brass.” Together they will bring the classic Rat Pack-era standards you love to the King Center. “Old Blue Eyes” would be proud! Be on the lookout for his new Christmas album which is due to be out this September.
