Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Handing Out Sandbags Today, Tomorrow In Sharpes

With the forecast of additional rain over the next 24 – 48 hours, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office will be distributing sandbags today from 11:30 a.m.– 6 p.m. and tomorrow, October 6th from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. or until supplies are depleted.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – With the forecast of additional rain over the next 24 – 48 hours, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office will be distributing sandbags today from 11:30 a.m.– 6 p.m. and tomorrow, October 6th from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. or until supplies are depleted.

The distribution site will be located across the street from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Jail Complex located at 860 Camp Road in Sharpes.

The location is the former Brevard Correctional Institute property and BCSO staff will be on site to direct motorists. Each vehicle will be limited to 10 sandbags.

The sandbags will be prepared and loaded within your vehicle for you at no cost.
