First Responders Extricate Victim From Water Filled Ditch After Crash On I-95 Friday Morning

Florida Highway Patrol Troopers were are on scene this morning of a crash that occurred northbound, on I-95 at Mile Marker 196.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers were are on scene this morning of a crash that occurred northbound, on I-95 at Mile Marker 196.

The crash involved a single vehicle that was traveling northbound on I-95 and left the roadway.

“The vehicle traveled into a water filled ditch,” said Sgt. Kim Montes, Florida Highway Patrol Public Affairs Officer.

“A federal Fish and Wildlife Officer witnessed the crash and pulled one occupant out.”

One occupant was able to get out on his own and the driver was extricated out by first responders.

According to Sgt. Kim Montes, an adult male and female were transported to Wuestoff hospital in critical condition.
