Joseph Schultz of Melbourne, Killed Friday In Crash at Eau Gallie Boulevard and Turtle Mound Road

Joseph E. Schultz, 25, of Melbourne, was killed Friday morning in a traffic crash at the intersection of Eau Gallie Boulevard and Turtle Mound Road.

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Joseph E. Schultz, 25, of Melbourne, was killed Friday morning in a traffic crash at the intersection of Eau Gallie Boulevard and Turtle Mound Road.

According Melbourne Police Sgt. Brian Hart, officers responded to the report of the traffic crash at the intersection at 7 a.m. Friday morning.

“When officers arrived on scene, they discovered two vehicles involved, a White Ford Explorer occupied by a female driver and a young child, and a Black Honda Civic driven by a male,” said Sgt. Hart.

“Melbourne Fire Department and Brevard County Fire Rescue arrived on scene to render medical aid. The male driver was found to have succumbed to injuries sustained during the crash and was pronounced deceased on scene.”

Traffic Homicide Investigators from the Melbourne Police Department Selective Traffic Enforcement Unit are continuing to investigate the crash.
